Is the Rhytec Portrait PSR painful? Those who have undergone treatment with Rhytec Portrait have likened the after effects to a "bad sunburn," which disappears over a short period of time. How much does Rhytec Portrait cost? The price for a session starts around $1200, but may vary slightly depending on the needs of the patient. Is Rhytec Portrait FDA-approved? Rhytec Portrait® PSR3 has been approved by the U.S. Federal Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of facial rhytides, superficial skin lesions, and actinic keratoses for full face and regional resurfacing (eyes and mouth). FDA approval for the chest, neck, hands, and acne scarring has been requested but not yet granted.
