Westlake Dermatology offers treatment of psoriasis (including scalp psoriasis) and vitiligo with the FDA-approved XTRAC laser. XTRAC delivers a carefully focused beam of light directly on the affected area, allowing for therapeutic doses to be delivered while minimizing the risk of damage to surrounding healthy skin. The procedure takes only a few minutes, and typically requires between 8 and 12 treatment sessions. XTRAC treatments are covered by most insurance companies for the treatment of psoriasis.
